This is a big change for Wondershare Data Recovery, especially on the interface. According to different needs from users with different computer levels, this new version of Data Recovery offers two recovery modes, Wizard Mode for beginners and Standard Mode for experienced ones. What’s the difference?
The Wizard Mode:
Users here only need to answer two questions according to their needs, such as what sort of files you want to recover and where your files lost. Check the answers and leave the rest to the program. It will scan and display the result for you to recover. There isn’t any complicated operation or options hard to choose from. Follow the instructions and just move on.
The Standard Mode:
If you are experienced computer users, you will like this Standard Mode, which allows you to perform data recovery more exactly, deeply and completely. You can retrieve your lost data by using Lost File Recovery, Partition Recovery, Raw File Recovery or Resume Recovery.
Lost File Recovery: Recover deleted files such as deleted by Shift + Delete or emptied from the Recycle Bin, no matter from your computer or other removable media.
Partition Recovery: It supports the recovery of lost, deleted, resized or damaged partition.
Raw File Recovery: It scans deeply and can recover more files, but takes more time. You are suggested to use it only when previous scans cannot find your lost files.
Resume Recovery: Used for saved scan results. Import the saved scan result to resume a previous recovery session for time saving.
Additionally, the Wondershare Data Recovery 3.0 supports file formats up to 550+. No matter what kind of files you lost, it can get them back for you.
