How to Combine Photos and Videos to Make a DVD on Mac

Time can’t be back. That’s why memories are our precious treasures. Back to history, humans have tried many methods to preserve precious fragments of the past; from carving symbols, building monuments, drawing paintings, printing photos, up to the latest method of saving digital files to hard drives and optical disks.

Speaking of optical disks, we usually use CD and DVD to store our raw digital information. Today, I’d like to show you to preserve your photos and videos as a DVD. Don’t be shocked by “Creating DVD”. Actually it’s very simple and easy work for everybody without any learning curve. Just with a few steps, you can enjoy your photos and videos on any DVD player. Moreover, you can combine your photos and videos to a DVD together and add your favorite songs as the background music.

Before starting, download a DVD creator for Mac at first (get the free trial version without charge).

Step 1. Add your photo and video files to DVD Creator
Click the “Add Files” button to add your loved photo and video files to DVD creator. The DVD Creator supports to drag the photo and video files to program directly.

Step2. Edit your photo and video on DVD Creator
You can trim and crop your video files and adjust the effects before burning them to DVD on Mac OS X. You also can add or edit the DVD Menu of the video files.

Step 3: Custom your photo and video files
You can set the duration, assign transitions, and add titles, background music to custom your photo and video files. Make photos as DVD slideshows and combine them with your videos as one.

Step4. Choose Output DVD
Choose burn to DVD (DVD–5 and DVD–9; DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD+R DL, DVD-R DL, DVD-RAM), DVD Folder and ISO File as you will. If you want to burn your project directly to a DVD disk, you can select the “DVD” option.

Step5. Start to Burn your photo slideshow and video to DVD on Mac
Now you can burn your photo slideshow and video to DVD on your Mac, after the burning finished, you can play the DVD on your Mac DVD player or your home DVD player to enjoy and share it!
