It’s that time of year again, when thousands of students say goodbye to tests and books and hello to the real world. I remember my graduation; my dad balancing on a folding chair with his Sony shaky-cam, trying to capture every moment while risking serious injury. No matter what you go through to get graduation photos, you’ll probably want to show them off on Facebook—it’s the quickest way to reach everybody, after all.

While on Android, both the original photo and Instagram photo are saved on your device, iPhone users don’t have it so easy.  The complaint is that Instagram doesn’t allow iPhone users to save full-size, original resolution pictures. The thing is, it does — this feature is just disabled by default and it’s a little tricky to change it. Here’s how:

Got some sweet footage you can’t wait to upload to YouTube, but feel the content looks a little rough? Or maybe you just want to add an electric blue filter or tip the whole video on its side 90 degrees?  Well, way back in September of last year, YouTube unveiled a basic editor for self-broadcasters like you.

This editor truly is basic, providing about the same features as that one-window wonder, Microsoft Picture Manager. Still, the fact is, YouTube’s online editor lets you edit already uploaded videos while also maintaining the same video IDs, making it possible to hold onto view counts and comments.

So what do you need to do to start making mad cash quickly off your eight-minute home-made masterpiece? While some make money from merchandise deals, the majority of earnings are made through advertising revenue YouTube’s Partner Program, where the top viewed videos are overlaid with advertisements—not unlike a pack of NASCAR hotrods.

It turns out its kind of exclusive and by invite only–like getting invited to wield a black Amex card. In other words, you need to already have a record of uploading videos. Here are the official qualifications according to the YouTube Partners page:
