The winter has been getting worse and extremely so this year for those whose residing in North America. Due to the severe chill and wind blasting from the Artic (known as the ‘polar vortex’), the temperatures will probably set a new breaking low record this winter. It has also been forecasted that the freezing temperature will spread East and other parts of the US. So, it’s time to embrace for the plummet and get attune to the cold to come. (more…)

    It’s the time of the year that we’ll try to think hard and long enough about our New Year’s Resolutions once again. Have you started yours? If you haven’t, perhaps I can give you some help over here.

    However, I’ll be able to point out why and what went wrong in the year/s before. Then, we can perhaps reflect on it and work our way through in getting this year’s resolution accomplished in the next year to come!

              The annual celebration falls on the 15th day of the eight month in the Chinese’s lunar calendar. In 2013, the Mid-Autumn festival is dated on the 19th of September, which is tomorrow! Apart from the Chinese New Year (which is normally in January or February), the Mid-Autumn festival is considered to be one of the largest or major festival celebrated by the Chinese, Taiwanese and Vietnamese (the festival is known locally as “Tet-Trung-Thu”).
