      Why Monkeys Can’t Resist that iPhone 4 FaceTime Camera

      Love to “monkey” around with your iPhone? We came across this great piece of “Gorilla” reporting: Recently, during a trip to his local zoo, YouTube user Mark Rober discovered he could use iPhone’s front-facing “FaceTime” mirror-camera to attract monkeys and simultaneously capture footage of them admiring themselves. However, as the iPhone’s camera is offset from the main screen, in his first batch of footage, the monkeys weren’t looking directly at the screen. So, as a solution he rigged a mirror frame for his iPhone to sit in and took his iPhone back to the zoo for another shoot.

          Facebook Rolls Out Music Sharing Service

          Facebook announced its music sharing service on Facebook. This music service on Facebook allows users to listen along with their friends whatever they are listening to at the same time. And a group of friends are able to listen to the same music together with one of them being the DJ.

          The music sharing service is pretty easy to operate at. Take a look at the music note in the chat sidebar to see which of your friends are listening to the music.               On December 21st, Amazon updated the Kindle app for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, making it possible for users to access periodic subscribed newspaper and magazine that were previously only available to hardware Kindle. And additionally, this time the app Kindle for iPhone/iPad/iPod is upgraded to support PDF eBooks.

                  provides safe access to over 450,000  educational videos on YouTube EDU.  It also filters out all the “distracting” stuff, so students can browse thousands of educational videos without burning brain cells viewing empty viral fluff like “Baby Eating Watermelon”.

                    Amazon Invests in Foxit, Aimed at Better PDF Support in Kindle

                    On December 6th, Foxit, a PDF solution provider, officially announced Amazon.com, Inc. has made an investment in the company. And they will work together to promote better experience in PDF reading on Kindle devices and free Kindle reading apps.

                    As a matter of fact, Kindles have been developed to support reading PDF file for a long  time. However, reading PDF eBook on Kindle  never  be a good experience. The layout of PDF makes it hard to fit on Kindle with a proper font size. Many people have complained about it. And when people compare Kindle with iPad, iPad always wins people’s heart for its good compatibility with .pdf format.  And this might be the the biggest sore point for Amazon, which results in the investment.
