Mobile phones and other technology, like tablets, are some of the most popular products out there today. Consumers are always looking for the next best thing, whether that’s a faster phone with a bigger screen, or a tablet that does more, has a better, more comfortable design, or any other number of variables. Yet despite the wide variety of phones (and pretty soon, tablets) on the market, it seems that the single biggest factor for people is to choose the operating system that runs the phone when they’re in the market for a new smartphone.

Recently, we have been hearing that the launch date for iPad 2 has been pushed back. But now All Things D has reported that Apple would be holding a media event on March 2 and it is highly likely that iPad 2 would be launched on that event only.
We are talking about iPad 2 and iPhone 5.
According to Jonathan S. Geller over on BGR the reason that multitouch features have been added with iOS 4.3 for the iPad, is because the iPad 2 could be losing its home button. Instead of using button taps the multitouch gestures will access the home screen with 4 or 5 finger pinch and swipe movements. The task switcher will also be launched in the same way.
