Apple Will Release iPhone 5 in September?

Tuesday, June 14th, 2011 by Mandy Lin

Apple usually uses Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) to unveil the new iPhone to the world. However, last week’s Apple WWDC in San Francisco finished without the new iPhone – iPhone 5 revealed. Now more rumors will spread away.

It is said that the iPhone 5 now is in the final stage of testing, and is already being hauled around by “high level Apple and carrier executives”, reported by tech site 9 to 5 Mac. And it is said that which iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S will launch at one day in September this year, as their source says “the current plan is for a September launch”. The source doesn’t tell whether the device released in September will be a completely new iPhone 5 or just a modified version of the current iPhone 4.

According to 9 to 5 Mac, the iPhone 5 won’t necessarily get 3G FaceTime support, that means you probably need to hook up with a Wi-Fi connection to video chat with friends and family.

If the new iPhone will be released in September, its arrival would coincide with the launch of the new version of iOS 5 runs iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, which was announced at WWDC.

Apple seldom details its plans in advance, which is why the pre-announcement of the contents of the WWDC keynote were such a surprise. Maybe this indicates that Apple’s annual schedule has been shifted.

iOS has announced being updated at WWD. And now developers have enough time to upgrade their apps before the new iPhone come out in September.
